Main influence of high oil temperature of four-column hydraulic machine

The energy transmission medium of the hydraulic system is usually hydraulic oil, so the performance of the oil directly affects the performance of the hydraulic system. Controlling the working temperature of the oil is a prerequisite for the normal operation of the hydraulic system. In the production of iron and steel enterprises, it is more appropriate to control the oil temperature of the hydraulic system at 30°C-60°C, and the best working temperature is 40±2°C. We strive to control the temperature within this range to achieve the best working effect of the hydraulic system. If the oil temperature is too high, it will bring many adverse effects to the hydraulic system. The main effects of rising oil temperature are as follows:
(1) The increase in oil temperature reduces the viscosity of the oil, so the leakage of oil in the components and the system will increase, which will reduce the volumetric efficiency of the hydraulic pump.
(2) The oil temperature rises to reduce the viscosity of the oil, which increases the flow of the oil through the throttle hole or the slit valve, which changes the originally adjusted working speed, affects the stability of the work, and reduces Working precision.
(3) When the oil temperature rises and the viscosity decreases, the lubricating oil film between the relative moving surfaces will become thinner, which will increase mechanical wear and cause failure when the oil is not clean.
(4) The increase in oil temperature will cause thermal deformation of mechanical components, and hydraulic valve components will expand after being heated, which may reduce the fit clearance, thus affecting the movement of the valve core, increasing wear, and even being stuck.
(5) An increase in oil temperature will accelerate the oxidation of the oil, resulting in deterioration of the oil and reducing the service life of the oil. The precipitates such as asphalt precipitated in the oil will also block the small holes and gaps of the components, affecting the normal operation of the system.
(6) If the oil temperature is too high, the sealing device will deteriorate rapidly and lose its sealing performance.
