Hydraulic press is a major application of hydraulic principle, which can generate ultra-high pressure of more than 100Mpa and hundreds of tons of pressure. The hydraulic system uses Pascal's law in fluid statics, using oil or other liquids to transfer pressure in the liquid, so as to achieve small pressure to control large pressure, which is somewhat similar to the principle of lever. The compressibility of liquid is generally very small, so in fluid statics, liquid is considered to be incompressible; in an incompressible static liquid, the effect of external force on any point will be instantly transmitted to all points of the fluid, which is Pascal's law.
The reason a hydraulic press can generate such great forces is because it takes advantage of the transmission properties of liquid in a closed pipe. When the liquid is subjected to force in the pipe, it can transfer this force to other parts. The hydraulic press uses this principle to amplify the input force and convert it into a larger output force. The liquid in a hydraulic press is usually a high-density, high-pressure, low-compressibility fluid. When the liquid passes through the hydraulic cylinder, it will be compressed, which will generate high pressure. This high pressure can be very effectively converted into force to produce physical movement.
