Strictly follow the safety rules for band sawing machines
1. When operating a band sawing machine, it is forbidden to wear gloves or loose clothes. To avoid the body being drawn into the machine and causing danger.
2. The band sawing machine can only be started after fully confirming that there are no irrelevant personnel and obstacles around it.
3. Please fully confirm that the material is indeed clamped before starting the saw blade. For special-shaped materials, please clamp them firmly with a special clamp, otherwise, during the cutting process, the material may fall and fly out.
4. When the band sawing machine cuts thin or short materials, please be sure to take anti-falling measures, otherwise, after the cutting is completed, the processed product may fall or roll out, causing danger.
5. The band sawing machine is forbidden to operate the machine when the pulley cover, saw belt cover, etc. are removed or opened, so as to avoid the body being drawn into it and causing danger.
6. It is forbidden to touch the saw blade or chip conveyor with your hands during the operation of the band sawing machine.
7. When the saw blade of the band sawing machine is running, the wire brush must not be adjusted or the chips must not be removed.
Daily safety inspection of band saws
1. Confirm the amount of hydraulic oil
2. Confirm the amount of cutting fluid
3. Check the scale of each valve.
4. Confirm the position of the wire brush.
5. Confirm that the saw blade is tensioned and whether it is correctly hung on the main and driven wheels.
Basic maintenance of band saws
1. After the daily operation of the band saw, please clean the band saw machine
2. Clean the filter in the iron chip box and the filter screen of the cutting fluid pump once a month. Add lubricating oil (yellow dry oil) to the band saw.
3. The cutting fluid of the band saw is replaced every 3 months (the replacement time can be appropriately extended in winter). Please thoroughly clean the cutting fluid tank and completely remove the precipitated impurities when replacing.
4. The hydraulic oil of the band saw is replaced every 6 months to ensure smooth oil circuit.
5. The back pressure bearing, side guide bearing, alloy clamping block and wire brush of the band saw are all wearing parts. If wear is found, please replace them in time. Otherwise, it will seriously affect the cutting quality.
