Operating procedures for horizontal band saws:
1. Band saw operators and maintenance personnel generally need to undergo professional training to master band saw operation and maintenance skills. Operators should ensure adequate sleep and stay focused.
2. When changing speed, stop the band saw first and then open the protective cover, turn the handle to relax the belt, place the V-belt in the groove of the required speed, then tighten the belt and cover the protective cover.
3. When adjusting the wire brush for chip removal of the band saw, the wire should contact the teeth of the band saw blade, but not exceed the root of the teeth. Pay attention to whether the wire brush can remove iron chips.
4. Band saw. Adjust the guide arm along the dovetail guide rail according to the size of the workpiece to be processed, and lock the guide device after adjustment.
5. The diameter of the material to be sawed by the band saw shall not exceed the specified size, and the workpiece must be clamped firmly.
6. The band saw blade of the band saw should be appropriately tight, and the speed and feed rate should be appropriate.
7. The band saw does not need cutting fluid when processing cast iron, copper, and aluminum parts, but other parts need cutting fluid.
